Florenskie Olga & Alexander / biography

Olga Florenskaja (r. 1960) and Alexander Florensky (r. 1960) have ended the Leningrad Supreme art - industrial School Muhinoj (SHtiglitsa) in 1982.
Members - organizers group of artists MIT'KI (1985).
In 1990 passed training in INSTITYTE DES ARTS PLASTIQUES (the director - Pontjus Hjul'ten). Authors of two animation films: "MIT'KIMAJER" (A.Florensky, 1992) and " the STORY About the MIRACLE FROM MIRACLES " (O.Florenskaja, 1994).
Took part in many All-Russia and international film festivals (1993-1999).
Organizers of publishing house MIT'KILIBRIS (1994).
About 1997 A.Florensky& - one of founders and the curator of gallery " MIT'KI - VHUTEMAS " in St.-Petersburg.
Since 1994 О. and A.Florenskie work above large-scale joint projects: "MOVEMENT Aside JYE", "the RUSSIAN PATENT", "MOBILE BESTIARY" etc.
Artists live and work in Sankt - St. Petersburg.

Works are in collection:
State Russian museum (St.-Petersburg)
Tret'jakovskaya gallery and Pushkin museum (Moscow) and many other museums of Russia
Museums KIASMA and CITY ART MUSEUM (Helsinki).
