Since 1977 takes part in informal exhibitions of group " Annals ".
In 1982 has created group " New artists " which similarly to "Annals" was focused on an aesthetics of primitiveness and ekspressionizma.
In 1986 has organized " Club of friends V.Majakovskogo ", and also group " New composers " and Free University in Central Lecture halls of Leningrad. Took part in statement of several performances, ballet, S.Solov'eva's "ASSA" film, concerts of group of S.Kurehina "priest - mechanics" and V.Tsoja "Cinema". It was removed in films "Fate", " Two captains - 2 ", " to Mountain from mind(wit) ".
In 1989 became the founder neoakademicheskogo directions in art of Saint Petersburg.
In 1993 has opened New Academy of fine arts. In Saint Petersburg, well-known the art currents, in 1990 have arisen new movement - Neoakademizm, led by the guru and theorist Timurom Novikovym. Neoakademizm is a synthesis of gilt - marble classical magnificence and it is total, a beggar, street, garbage art modern piterburgskoj bohemia.
Timur Novikov have experience of avant guarde of the end of century, he knew Uorhol, Kejdzh, Raushenberg, Hering.
